The Monte Carlo method is used to simulate electromagnetic showers initiated by ultrarelativistic electrons in the crust of a neutron star with a magnetic field of 4.4 x 10 to the 12th G and a density of 20,000 g/cu cm. The production of neutrons in photonuclear processes and their subsequent transport are examined, and the albedo of photons and the number of positrons produced by these photons near the star surface are calculated. The number distribution of gamma quanta with energies exceeding 10 MeV is examined as a function of penetration depth.
