The electromagnetic induction in a earth model consisting of the thin non-uniform shell surrounding a core with spherically symmetrical conductivity distribution is considered. The matching field conditions at the shell surface are developed and transformed into a system of two integro-differential equations. It is convenient to use this system in the iterative method based on the relative deviation of integrated conductivity from a certain level. The convergence of the iterative procedure is shown.
