Various types of distributions of electric and magnetic fields in the morning sector of the auroral ionosphere are examined on the basis of Intercosmos-Bulgaria-1300 satellite data. It is shown that the electric-field distribution is determined by irregularities of ionospheric conductivity connected with fluxes of precipitating particles. The electric field decreases in regions of increased conductivity corresponding to layers of upward-flowing field-aligned currents. Results on the electric field in the westward electrojet are also presented.
