The influence of the time factor on the results of laboratory measurements of high-temperature electrical conductivity has been studied. The electrical conductivity of tourmaline, muscovite, plagioclase, orthoclase, almandine and titanomagnetite was measured in a dry regime. Examples of decrease, increase, or no change of conductivity are given for temperatures kept constant for a long time. Interpretation of some changes of electrical conductivity is discussed.
