The effective collision strengths are presented in this table for all transitions among the lowest 37 fine-structure levels belonging to the 3s(2), 3s3p, 3p(2), 3p3d, 3d(2) and 3s4s configurations of Ni XVII.
These have been calculated using the DARC R-matrix codes. Each fine-structure level is assigned an index number in Table 2 of the manuscript ranging from 1 to 37. These index values are used here in Table 8 to refer to particular transitions, eg. Index 1-3 denotes the transition 3s(2) 1SE(J=0)--3s3p 3PO(J=1).
The effective collision strengths for each transition are presented in rows for a number of electron temperatures ranging from log10(T)=4.5 to log10(T)=8.5 in steps of 0.5dex.
