The effective collision strengths are presented in this table for all transitions among the lowest 46 fine-structure levels belonging to the 2s2, 2s2p, 2p2, 2s3s, 2s3p, 2s3d, 2p3s, 2p3p and 2p3p configurations of MgIX.
These have been calculated using the Breit-Pauli R-matrix method. Each fine-structure level is assigned an index number in Table 4 of the manuscript ranging from 1 to 46. These index values are used here in Table 6 to refer to particular transitions, eg. Index 2-5 denotes the transition 2s2p 3Po(J=0) -- 2s2p 1Po(J=1).
The effective collision strengths for each transition are presented in rows for a number of electron temperatures ranging from log10(T)=3.0 to log10(T)=7.0 in steps of 0.2dex.
