Some biopolymers, such as DNA, have multistranded twisted chain
structure and exhibit characteristic supercoiled structures due to
twisting and anisotropic rigidity. We studied the effect of chain
twisting and anisotropic rigidity on the behavior of a double-stranded
circular polymer chain using a Monte Carlo simulation. .
