The effect of the sphericity of the atmosphere on the formation of the albedo nucleon flux at E greater than 100 MeV is evaluated for high-latitude regions in the upper atmospheric layers in the constant geomagnetic field approximation. It is shown that the main contribution to this effect is made by primary protons with zenith angles greater than 85 deg; the effect can reach a maximum value of 300 percent near the local horizontal at heights of about 50 km.
