An analysis of the intensity of very long period (vlp) geomagnetic pulsations observed at the same geomagnetic latitude but at different longitudes is presented. Data from stations at a latitude of 75 deg and longitudes of 115, 42, and 320 deg are examined. Differences in the level of the mean statistical vlp amplitudes at the same latitude but at different longitudes can be interpreted as due to the effect of the diurnal variation of the midday latitude of the daytime cusp.
