The propagation of solar protons interacting with an interplanetary
magnetic wave and magnetic-field inhomogeneities. The spherically
symmetric problem is solved, neglecting the influence of the solar
magnetic field. Proton scattering by field inhomogeneities is defined in
terms of the transport mean free path for scatter.
