We present UBVRI observations of 4 eclipses of the dwarf nova IP Peg on decline from an outburst. The dataset was obtained during a long-term observing campaign between July 1990 and December 1991. Maximum entropy techniques are used to derive the intensity distribution in colors UBVRI and the brightness temperature distribution of the disk. The disk maps show a 7000-9000 Kelvin inner disk zone surrounded by an outer disk zone with declining temperature. During decline from outburst the boundary between this two zones of the disk travels inward with a speed of about 800 m/s. Based on observations obtained at the Mt. Wendelstein Observatory, Germany.
