Hst Proposal Id #5266 Quasars &Amp, Agn Radio Galaxies

Early FOC observations of this classical double radio galaxy have shown exciting details in the central regions. There is a compact dust disc, like NGC4261, and in addition a double optical counterpart to teh double radio jet. Observations with a refurbished HST should provide a striking demonstration of the improvement to the optics as well as showing dramatic details near the nucleus of this very active elliptical galaxy.
