The response of the ionosphere to a surface explosion in the Massa Project was investigated on the basis of data obtained from a network of ionospheric stations (Alma-Ata, Karaganda, Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Irkutsk, Moscow, and Iakutsk). Ionograms were analyzed visually as well as through an examination of N(h) profiles. The time dependence of plasma frequencies was obtained for a number of fixed heights.
