In a N-body simulation of a non-dissipative collapse, the spin parameters of the final outcome of evolution took values comparable with those of a sample of elliptical galaxies deduced from observations. The authors make a numerical analysis of the merging of a disk-like structure with an initially spheroidal configuration with the purpose of studying the morphological properties and the angular-momentum distribution of the mergers and compare these results with the properties of the structures which were generated by collapse.
