Experiments with wire arrays imploding on internal targets or 'dynamic hohlraums', were performed on Saturn and PBFA Z. Evidence of radiation trapping and enhanced temperature in the center compared to the edge measured temperature (ΔT approximately 25 eV) was obtained on the Saturn experiments. On PBFA Z, we first explored pinch reproducibility and sheath characterization. The pinch and strike have proven very reproducible with a nominal 10-ns rise time. Extensive analysis of the results and comparison with predictions from 2-D radiation-hydrodynamics will be presented.
