The Gamma-ray Large Area Space Telescope, is a high energy gamma-ray astroparticle mission planned for launch at the end of 2006. Gamma-ray observations in the energy range from 20 MeV to 300 GeV will be performed by the LAT, the main instrument of GLAST. An Engineering Model module of the LAT tracker is being built and environmental tests have been performed on its components in order to understand its capability of surviving to the solicitations expected for launch and during the mission. The results of vibration and thermal tests are presented.
