In a magnetized inhomogeneous dusty plasma drift dissipative instability may play an important role. We have examined the dependence of frequencies and growth rates on dust parameters. The marginal instability for such a dusty plasma seems to show some interesting results. The relevance of the investigation is discussed to understand the wave phenomena in planets and cometary environments.
