The quantitative description of the motion of the Sun as observed from Mercury is a problem suitable to a variety of classes. The only difficult aspect for introductory students is a determination of the position along the orbit for the planet. Two methods are described and a listing of a computer subroutine is included. The combination of slow rotation and high eccentricity of Mercury's orbit makes this problem an interesting one.
