We present an experimental and theoretical analysis of the ratio of branching
ratios R=BR(H^+ -> tau^+ nu)/BR(H^+ -> t b-bar) of charged Higgs boson decays
as a discriminant quantity between supersymmetric and non-supersymmetric
models.
