Tilting the flat secondary mirror in the annular Strand reflector results in a displacement of the image of the control mark, with the dependence of this displacement on the tilt angle being nonlinear. A formula is derived that shows that the proportionality coefficient in the linear dependence of the height at which a ray meets the focal plan on the angle of rotation of the mirror is determined only by the ratio of the offset of the focal plane behind the vertex of the main mirror to the distance between the mirrors.
