The paper presents a theoretical analysis of the dispersion properties of the ionospheric plasma in the vicinity of a spacecraft during electron-beam injection along the geomagnetic field. The dispersion equation is obtained, and the limiting cases of the solutions are examined as a function of the wave vector and the parameters of the electron beam and the ionospheric plasma.
