A situation where the magnetic field is concentrated in randomly distributed bundles of flux lines is often met in laboratory plasmas as well as in space plasmas. In this paper the propagation of long-wave MHD-oscillations in a plasma with random inhomogeneities, when density and magnetic field change by the order of unity at a length small compared to wavelength, is studied. The dispersion properties of MHD-waves in such a plasma are found in the frame of a 2D-problem. It is also shown that the presence of small scale random inhomogeneities results in a strong enhancement of the dissipation of wave energy.
