Eclipsing Binary, Period, Rr Lyrae
Scientific paper
Photometric observations of GSC 140.1831 show it to be an eclipsing binary with a period of 1.14962+/-0.00005 days. The epoch of primary minimum is JD 2451264.27+/-0.02. The light curve shows two minima of about 0.7 and 0.5 magnitudes deep. The system probably contains two late A-type stars. GSC 959.1397 and GSC 396.1710 are both a-type RR Lyrae variables with a periods and amplitudes of 0.64465+/-0.00012 days and 1.0 mag, and 0.77892+/-0.00009 days and 0.7 mag respectively.
