Further to IAUC #8622, R. Quimby and P. Mondol report the discovery of a supernova in unfiltered CCD images taken on June 9.22 (at magnitude about 17.2), using the 0.45-m ROTSE-IIIb telescope at the McDonald Observatory. The supernova (coordinates RA 13:08:01.23 DEC +26:06:59.0 J2000.0) is 2.3" east and 13.1" south of the center of the apparent host galaxy.
