An isobaric model is used to determine the spectrum of the neutral pi-mesons produced in proton-proton interaction. The angular distribution of isobars in the center-of-momentum system is taken to be isotropic or of the form A+Bcos2θ*. It is shown that the total meson spectrum is approximately the same, even if outgoing isobars run in the same initial direction of the colliding proton. However, the double differential spectrum of mesons is considerably dependent on the isobar distribution. The spectrum of gamma-rays from neutral pion decay is calculated. Here also, the double differential spectrum is dependent on the isobar distribution.
