Dip angles of the sporadic E(s) layer of the ionosphere were determined
using results of measurements of the reflected signal phase. It is shown
that the dip angles vary between 2 and 8 deg, with the most probable
value being 4 deg. The dip of the E(s) layer causes significant changes
in signal parameters.
