The characteristic features of the diffuse spectra of p-gamma neutrinos from the hypothetic 'bright phase' of galaxies are calculated and analyzed for different forms of cosmic ray spectra. It is shown that the location of the bend in the neutrino spectrum is unambiguously related to the time of the 'bright phase' and depends only slightly on the form of the cosmic ray spectrum.
