Noting that distortion of the random velocity field by rotation must be taken into account when solving the problem of differential rotation of the solar convection zone, it is proven that a previously proposed system of equations for solving this problem is acceptable. For a thin (in comparison with the radius) convection zone, solutions are obtained which demonstrate that the equatorial zone rotates faster than the polar zones at all depths. It is shown that the depth dependence of convection-zone parameters has a weak effect on the differential character of rotation. Convection-zone parameters are estimated together with the strength and direction of meridional circulation. In connection with the parameter estimates, the problem of magnetic-field generation by the solar dynamo is considered.
