Such physical conditions as positive definiteness of matter density and pressure, adiabatic stability etc. are presented in the form of inequalities relating certain functions which appear in the general formal solution; the latter solution has been derived recently by the same author in isotropic coordinates for spherically symmetric matter distributions.
