The paper examines correlations of the sudden impulse of the geomagnetic field during an SC and the periods and amplitudes of Pc5SC pulsations with the velocity (V) of sporadic corpuscular streams of the solar plasma in the vicinity of the magnetosphere. Regression formulas are derived which can be used for the diagnostics of V. It is shown that the best formula for the diagnostics of V during an SC is V(km/s) = 2.96 x 10 to the 4th T exp -0.679.
