A method based on multidimensional regression analysis is developed for the multistep diagnostics of the radiation characteristics of solar cosmic rays from electromagnetic radiation parameters. Consideration is given to the diagnostics of radiation dose levels, estimation of dose magnitudes, and estimation of proton spectrum rigidity indices. Optimal sets of predictors for each step of diagnostics are identified, and the accuracy of the approach is evaluated.
