The accuracy of several approaches to the determination of the mass of a fireball released as gamma-quanta from the interaction energy and the Lorentz factor of an isotropic dispersion system, determined from the integral angular distribution is evaluated. Families of gamma-quanta with interaction energies above 5 TeV, recorded with X-ray emulsion chambers are analyzed. The data obtained indicate that the energy released as gamma-quanta increases continuously as the interaction energy increases.
