Searches for J = 1 → 0 transition in the v = 0,1 states as well for J = 2 → 1 transition in the ground vibrational state are presented. The J = 1 → 0, J = 2 → 1, v = 0 lines were detected toward IRC+102l6. The line temperature of the J = 2 → 1 transition agrees with the value predicted by Norris (1975), but the spikes in the line wings of the J = 1 → 0 profile are larger than the model value. Two possible explanations are: (1) The region emitting the J = 1 → 0 line is more extended than previously thought or (2) maser emission is present.
