It is shown that numerical MHD simulation can be used for the inverse projection of actual profiles of solar-wind parameters from earth orbit to a distance of about 0.16 AU. It is shown that the use of numerical MHD models makes it possible to refine the approximation of constant velocity for the inverse projection of velocity structures of the solar wind. It also makes it possible to obtain information on the distribution of interplanetary-plasma parameters (density, pressure, temperature, and magnetic field) to considerably nearer distances to the sun than the earth's orbit.
