We present a first analysis of our asteroseismology campaign on the
planet host star γ Cep A. We used seven consecutive nights at the
Harlan J. Smith 2.7 m telescope at McDonald Observatory to obtain 1200
highly precise radial velocity measurements. We find the star to be a
multi-periodic pulsator with a frequency spacing of 15 μHz.
