The results of a detailed spectrophotometric investigation of Mark 307 carried out with the 6-m telescope of the SAO AS USSR are presented. By means of intensity ratios of emission lines Te, Ne, the abundances of O, N, S, the masses and volumes of the emitting gas and the numbers of the O9-type stars for all condensations of the galaxy are estimated. The nucleus of Mark 307 is identical to the nuclei of spiral galaxies. One of the condensations is distinguished as the supergiant H II region. The star formation rate in it is probably higher than in the nuclear region of the galaxy.
