Scientific paper

Near-IR spectra of comet 1989r were obtained at the Sanglok Observatory.
The rotational structures of the red system of CN(2, 0), CN(3, 1) and
Phillips bands C2(3, 0) and C2(4, 1) were identified in detail. The
emissions of the parent molecules H2O and O2 were found, and their band
structure was determined.
