The spatial and temporal relationships between soft X-ray loops and H-alpha flare Kernels were studied for the 1B (M2.6) flare of December 5, 1991. Most of flare energy was released inside three soft X-ray loops whose footpoints were bright as H-alpha Kernels. We suggest that the interaction among preexisting or emerging magnetic loops is essential for the successive energy release in a confined two-ribbon flare.
