A design is proposed for a cryogenic detector for gravitational radiation. With a proper choice of a set of design parameters, the resonant frequency of the detector can be preselected to lie within 0.001 to 1000 Hz; calculated values of these parameters are tabulated. Fine tuning of the detector is also possible. Using SQUID magnetometers to measure displacement, the expected gravitational radiation flux sensitivity is shown to be between 10 to the 4th and 10 to the 8th J per sq m per cycle for burst radiation, and less than 10 to the -4th W per sq m for continuous radiation at pulsar frequencies.
