Fermilab results on pp yields pi +/- X and pp yields K +/- X inclusive reactions are used to calculate the energy spectrum of sea level muons in the range of 100 to 10000 GeV from the latest directly measured JACEE primary spectrum. The flux of muons emerged from the multiple generation of mesons in air is considered using the conventional pion atmospheric diffusion equation (Bugaev et al., 1970). It is concluded that the latest primary-nucleon spectrum estimated from the directly measured passive detector balloon flight JACEE observations fairly explains the BAKSAN underground scintillator muon energy spectrum in the range (1-5) TeV. The FNAL data at 175 GeV energy can be used to calculate the meson production cross-section at superhigh energies through the scaling phenomena of Feynman.
