The influence of the electron pitch-angle distribution at the point of
precipitation on the form of bremsstrahlung bursts observed at diversity
reception stations is examined. The results of the analysis can be used
to evaluate the longitudinal drift and pitch-angle distribution of
electrons at the point of precipitation.
