The dependence of the integrated scattering cross section of ultrashort waves by artificial electron-density fluctuations in the F-region on the angle between the wave vector of the intense pump wave and the geomagnetic field vector is investigated. It is shown that the intensity distribution of electron-density fluctuations under vertical heating in the magnetic meridian plane does not coincide with the energy distribution of the pump wave within the radiation pattern of the heating facility. The region of intense generation of small-scale irregularities is shifted to the south from the zenith.
