Single-spin asymmetries in the hard exclusive electroproduction of real
photons have been measured for the first time. The data have been
accumulated by the HERMES experiment at DESY using polarized and
unpolarized hydrogen gas target internal to the 27.5 GeV polarized
positron beam. .
