We have conducted the optical identification program for the Chandra Multiwavelength Plane (ChaMPlane) Survey in 56 fields, using the CTIO and KPNO/4m/Mosaic camera (FoV 36'}×36{') with V, R, I and Hα filters, for 129 Chandra ACIS observations from Cycle 1--5. Among those, 23 Mosaic fields are within the galactic bulge region (|b| < 10o and |l| < 20o) and cover 76 Chandra observations. In the galactic center region, we made 6 Mosaic pointings to cover 2.2 square degrees and 50 Chandra observations, which include 30 pointings of the galactic center survey by Wang et al., and 14 deep SgrA* observations by Muno et al. Spectroscopic follow-ups for the Chandra optical counterparts were also conducted using the Magellan and CTIO/4m telescopes. We present optical results for this deep X-ray/Optical survey of the galactic center region.
