The dynamics of nonrotating triple systems with components of equal initial mass are numerically investigated using 1000 initial conditions with the same method of specifying random initial conditions. Calculations are presented for the mean time at which a component being ejected reaches a given distance R (conditional escape). Results show that a mean time of true escape does not exist, and that it exists only for escapes including conditional escapes at the given boundary R. An empirical expression is derived for the probability of true escape during time T.
