The microlensing events found towards the Large Magellanic Cloud suggest that about 20% of the galactic halo dark matter is in the form of MACHOs (Massive Astrophysical Compact Halo Objects). On the other hand, the analysis of the observed microlensing events towards the galactic bulge, where the statistics is an order of magnitude better, and the spiral arms by the method of dark mass moments allows to determine more carefully the mass functions of the corresponding objects, acting as lenses in the microlensing experiments. The remaining halo dark matter fraction could, at least partially, be made of cold molecular clouds (mainly of H2).
