The possibility that the the neutral radiation with an energy from 10 to the 15th to 10 to the 16th eV which has been detected from Cygnus X-3 might consist of photinos is discussed. Quantitative calculations are carried out on the production of photinos in the source via the production and decay of gluinos and on shower production in the earth's atmosphere. The results show that the photino hypothesis requires an unacceptably large source luminosity of 10 to the 44th erg/s or larger.
