An expression is obtained for the cyclotron-instability (CI) increment of circularly polarized Alfven waves with allowance for bounce resonances for an axisymmetric model of the external magnetic field and an arbitrary dependence of the wave field on the longitudinal coordinate. An analytical expression is obtained for the ion-cyclotron instability increment of the magnetospheric plasma with allowance for bounce resonance for a bi-Maxwellian distribution of high-energy ions. It is shown that the bounce effects do not produce a modulation of the CI increment because of the interference of neighboring resonances.
