The YNi5-xAlx compounds crystallize in a hexagonal structure of
CaCu5-type for x <= 1.5. The magnetic susceptibility of YNi5 at T
< 10 K follows a T2 dependence. At T > T*, a Curie-Weiss behaviour
was shown. Similar dependencies were observed in all studied composition
range.
