The cross section of the reaction 45Sc(p, γ)46Ti has been measured over the bombarding energy range 0.7-4.2 MeV. This energy range is appropriate for calculating the interaction rate in a stellar interior over the temperature range 109-1010 K. The results are compared with predictions of the statistical model of nuclear reactions. Stellar interaction rates are calculated.
